![]() ![]() But once she goes on a quest that concerns her, her family, her past, she would have to be a robot in order not to show emotions. I still like the old Lara so I reached a consensus with myself - she was only so indifferent about most stuff because it didn't affect her personally, getting an artifact from here or there was a job like any other. Kickass but objectified, she had almost no personality traits, opinions, relationships with other people. Honestly, in the older TRs she was the same badass Lara, but she was only that and nothing more. The fact that she shows some emotions doesn't make her weak or "feminised", she seems all more real to me and more enjoyable to play. I believe in Legend they feminised her a lot more than she already was and made her seem "emotionally weak" Honestly? It didn't really bother me, she IS rich after all and can afford to hire some help, she is badass raiding tombs and they are offering her information/technological support :P It would probably bother me if they would tell her EVERYTHING but often she just has historical discussions with Alistar (I think) and it's quite obvious that she knows as much as he does, maybe even more. Yep, I think the "sidekicks" and the whole system was more borrowed from the movies where she was in contact with someone most of the time. ![]() I also remember Lara as the lone wolf who can take anything in her stride, without help. Puzzles aren't very demanding.neither are the enemies :/ That's true, that's one of the reasons why Legend is so easy imo. Gunning down gangs upon gangs of men in very unfamiliar environments which I generally did not enjoy. Wanted to add that I love Lara's character in the rebooted TR. It's always nice to hear when people enjoy the TR games either way :) I am an old school player so I'm probably slightly biased or something. Of course this is only my personal opinion like I said. While some players may like to see a different side to Lara, I'd prefer to see her as bad ass Lara Croft from the originals! I believe in Legend they feminised her a lot more than she already was and made her seem "emotionally weak", a bit like how she was in the rebooted TR actually. My opinion will mostly be influenced by my memory of gunning down gangs upon gangs of men in very unfamiliar environments which I generally did not enjoy. Regarding point 3, I apologise as it has been years since I've played legend so I am probably wrong in that respect and I've forgotten most of the game play. Hi bereneko!
